LAST MINUTE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Looking for a wedding photographer at short notice?
There are lots of reasons why you could be looking to book a photographer last minute, change of plans, been let down or simply didn’t realise how far in advance wedding photographers get booked up and now you’re panicking! Yes it’s true the best wedding photographers generally book up between 6 and 18 months in advance so finding someone with the right skills and experience at short notice can be a challenge. But you should not compromise!
Well don’t panic because I am here to help, I am a full service photographer here to take the stress from you. I have lots of options available depending on what it is you are looking for, so I like to have a good chat with my clients before I send full quotes as everyone and every wedding is different.
Because I’m new to the Rotherham area and also undertake assignments for a diverse client base; this means that I have availability for a wedding at short notice and still have a lot of dates available for 2022 weddings.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
If you need a photographer at short notice to capture your big day then I may be able to help out.
Even when time is of the essence it is still as important as ever to get your wedding photography right. After all, when the confetti has been swept up and the champagne bottles are empty, reliving your special day will really mean the world. Having amazing wedding photos to treasure becomes so important to couples and families when the day itself has gone by. Last minute wedding photography shouldn’t mean rushed or bodged wedding photographs, your wedding day deserves to be immortalised in beautiful pictures by an experienced professional.
Your wedding photographer is along for the ride with you the whole day so it’s really important to book someone that you can get along well, and feel at ease with. To this end, as far as is practical, I will meet with all last minute couples before their big day, where possible squeezing in a pre-wedding practice photo-shoot. If time is really critical, or your booking is for somewhere further afield, at the very least we will have a good chat over Skype.
If your wedding day is fast approaching and you haven’t arranged a photographer yet, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I would love to hear what you are planning and talk to you about how we can make some awesome and dramatic photos that you will hold dear for many many years.
LATE BOOKING TIPS AND IDEAS.
RESEARCH AND REACH OUT
If you find yourself in the position of needing a wedding photographer at short notice, do your research and then phone one – or several.
Most photographers’ are only too happy to take last-minute work if they are still available. As a result, they sometimes receive last-minute cancellations also.
Even though your wedding may be short notice and might seem like a rush, don’t skimp on your research. Instead, find time to chat with or meet your photographer just as you would if you had months to go.
If you can’t schedule a meeting, a phone call will suffice. The important thing is that you feel comfortable with your chosen photographer. Personalities do play a big part and appreciating their vision and style helps too.
Testimonials and reviews can also be reassuring that you’re making the right choice, and there are many on my photography reviews page. All the couples listed are happy to be contacted by you. Just ask me for their contact details.
THERE’S NO SUBSTITUTE FOR A PROFESSIONAL
Some couples decide quite late on whether they even need a photographer. They may feel they haven’t the budget or that it’s not essential. They may recruit a relative or friend with a decent camera to get the shots.
My advice is DON’T!
A dedicated wedding photographer knows what to look for and how to take images that truly capture the best moments of your day. The money might seem a lot now, but your photographs will last a lifetime.
If you really can’t afford a photographer, then tell them your budget. There might be room for compromise, especially when booking late.
